Cookie Policy
Last updated 3 August 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on getvamos.ai and in the Vamos app, what they do, and how to control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal data more broadly.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. They let a site remember things between visits, such as whether you are signed in. Similar technologies covered here include local storage, pixels and tracking scripts, which do comparable jobs by different means.
Cookies are either session cookies, cleared when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them.
Strictly necessary
The site cannot work without these. They are set by us or by our hosting provider, and they are never used for advertising.
Framer — serves the site, keeps it stable, and remembers basic display preferences. Session, and persistent for preferences.
Vamos — keeps you signed in and secures your session. Session, and persistent if you choose to stay signed in.
Stripe — fraud prevention and completing a payment during checkout.
Analytics
These tell us how the site is used so we can improve it. They do not identify you by name.
Google Analytics — counts visits, pages viewed, and how people arrive. The _ga cookies last 2 years, _gid lasts 24 hours.
Framer Analytics — page views and basic performance, collected by our website host.
PostHog — product analytics inside the app: which features are used, and where sessions fail.
Referral
Tolt — records that an affiliate referred you, so the right partner is credited if you subscribe.
Support
Intercom — runs the in-app chat and the help centre, and keeps your conversation history.
What we do not use
We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels. There is no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no TikTok pixel, and no advertising cookie on this site.
Third-party policies
These providers set their own cookies and act as independent controllers for some of that data. Their policies are published at google.com, framer.com, stripe.com, posthog.com, intercom.com and tolt.io.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the site and the app from working, including staying signed in.
For Google Analytics specifically, Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out across every site that uses it.
Browsers may send a Do Not Track signal. There is no industry-agreed standard for responding to it, so this site does not currently change its behaviour based on that signal.
Changes
We update this policy when the technologies we use change. The date at the top shows the last revision. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email.
